The Aviary

The love of birds was renewed with the comment of “How would you like a free bird.”  From Dusty, aka “Free Bird,” we were smitten.  Since we were gone a good part of the day, we felt Dusty was lonely, so Sunny, a cinnamon pied cockatiel  joined our family.  We then decided we wanted a “bigger” bird so Jesse, our senegal, came to live with us and finally ( or so we thought) Max, our lovebird . 

Well, everyone knows that birds are like potato chips — you can’t stop with just one.  We decided that it would be nice is everyone had a mate, so we got some boys for our girls and, of course, you have to keep some of the babies because they’re so cute.
